Peer assisted learning involves informal study groups with students at the beginning of their undergraduate studies. Sessions are delivered by teams of PAL leaders (minimum of two per session) and support students in exploring their subject areas through facilitation of activities and discussion. PAL does not involve traditional teaching: the focus is on the sharing of study experiences and providing new students a space to work together to develop their own academic knowledge and practice.
